United Nations Special Consultative Status Initiatives:

INTERNATIONAL SYMPOSIUM INITIATIVE – PRIDE and the Institute of World Religions of China within the Chinese Academy of Social Science, seek to explore, compare and exchange views on the influence of secular ethics and religious conscience on society. The International Symposium on Religion and Secular Ethics is cosponsored with CASS on a tri-annual basis.  PRIDE publishes bilingual papers and facilitates a representation of scholars, academia, the public and private sector. The Symposium represents a significant achievement in Sino-American collaboration under the UN mission to promote cross-cultural understanding, peace, and harmony.

REAR THE CHILDREN INITIATIVE – Since the 1995 IWY Conference in Beijing, PRIDE has been dedicated to children without parents and families, abandoned babies and orphans who are victims of conflict, at-risk, or exploited.  REAR THE CHILDREN is a system to register, educate, adopt or reunite children with siblings and family. This process seeks to provide solutions for millions of children who have no voice or legal status.

PRIDE YOUTH AMBASSADORS – PRIDE sponsors a cross-cultural literacy and leadership program where youth travel abroad as Ambassadors for Peace.  Short summer teaching and training exchanges allow youth to learn other cultures and teach children a Second Language.  This contributes greatly to the academic resume and life experience of future leaders in a global society.

FIRST NAFTA INITIATIVE (US-MEXICO) – Since 1992, Pride has led Pacific Rim interests under its First Nafta Agenda.   PRIDE has facilitated significant remediation efforts for rural and indigenous communities within the bilateral community.

ECONOMIC LITERACY INITIATIVE - PRIDE sponsors projects for rural and marginal communities for local development. These projects constitute new capitalization values for micro-economic development and sustainability.

A NEW ECONOMETRIC MODEL - GRANTS SUSTAINABILITY
PRIDE has developed a unique working model that incorporates both soft and fixed capital access.  The PRIDE Econometric Model reflects regional or special interests, cultural and socioeconomic standards, intergovernmental programs and their funding priorities. This approach provides a solid incentive and strategy WITH COLLABORATION as a common denominator for action.  This ensures transparency and cooperation.  Increasingly, Non-Governmental Organizations find their role is one of a catalyst for economic “reach”.
